Our Trauma Survivors newsletter curates the best stories and tips from others on the path to recovery. Forget all those so-called “self-esteem” building exercises– kids need to find their purpose in God.You don’t have to heal from trauma alone. The answer is that God has made each of us for a reason. I love the subject matter of this song, since it answers some important questions that EVERY kid has: Why am I here on earth? What’s my purpose?

No doubt, I’m hooked on LifeTree kids music…and you and your kids will be too once you hear this song. Have you heard of the One called Saviour?
#Songs about children growing up free
I want nothing more than for a group of kids to have tons of fun singing a song about how Christ is alive in His children and that His love is what sets us free from the bondage of sin. The chorus of this song is magical: “You are alive in us…Your love has set us free!” Although I still couldn’t do the motions if my life depended on it, I do know the words really well. We’ve pretty much worn this song out at my church. Add it to your repertoire to get your kids moving and singing about faith in our Savior! But I bet for many of you this is a fun new song. We have sung this one quite a bit at my church, so it’s really familiar to me. It talks about living life not by what we can see or what we feel, but by knowing the One who is with us and has our best interest in mind. This is a super-duper fantastic song about having faith in God. Stomp your feet louder (yeah, you guys are doin’ awesome!) Gonna get a little crazy and a little wild We’re here to spread the love of God to everyone We’re all in this together and we’re having fun That’s a HUGE win in my book, and just one more reason I love this song: He immediately says, “Stop Mom!” Then he walks over to the coconut, taps it, and says, “The fruit of the spirit’s not a coconut.” Plus…today my 5-year old was with my wife in the grocery store when he spots some coconuts. This Sunday School song is a fun way to instill the fruit of the Spirit into a kid’s brain. (It will probably get stuck in your head if you listen to this…fair warning) It’s catchy, it’s fun, and it’s pretty stinkin’ educational too. I have listened to this (semi-ridiculous) song WAY too much in the car by myself. I sing the wisdom that designed the sun to rule the dayħ. That spread the flowing seas abroad and built the lofty skies I sing the mighty pow’r of God that made the mountains rise There’s no greater power than the power of our God (x2) This is a great worship tune that they made just a little more fun than I remembered it being: Sometimes I play Lifetree Kids songs when I’m by myself in the car. I’ve got peace, love and joy like a river The difference for me is the melody sounds more modern, the end of the song sounds better to me, and if I’m honest…I think the lyric video is cool. You’ll recognize the melody instantly and it sounds fairly similar to the song we grew up with as kids. I’m gonna let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine (x3) I’m gonna let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shineĮverywhere I go I’m gonna let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shineĮven when I’m afraid I’m gonna let shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine
